FOSS4G 2022 – uzávěrka prodloužena

The deadline of the Call for Papers is now POSTPONED to 14th March 2022!

We invite you to share with the community your most recent inspiring studies and/or solutions related to FOSS4G technologies. Contributions from PhD students and early-stage researchers are particularly encouraged.

You can still submit your proposal for:

  • Talks: the sessions are expected on experiences both in the use of free geographic data and metadata, and in the use or development of free and open source geographic software. Your contribution could present all about how you use open source geospatial software, how it helps to solve your company/organization problems, a new development you are involved in and what it has improved, etc. in the various application fields. (https://2022.foss4g.org/cfp-general_session.php)
  • Academic papers: the Scientific Committee of FOSS4G 2022 invites original research contributions addressing any topic or domain connected to Open Geospatial Software, including (but not limited to) Open Hardware, Open GIScience, Open Geospatial Data, Spatial Data Sharing Systems, Open (Geo)Education, Participatory Mapping, Digital Twin Earth. Given the European location of this year’s FOSS4G, in their research works authors are strongly invited to make use of data produced by European initiatives such as INSPIRE and Copernicus. • Workshops: these sessions are the showcase of the FOSS4G projects. During 2 or 4 highly stimulating hours experienced community members will guide participants through the features of the various software projects. Often both beginner and advanced workshops are held, to cover the majority of user needs. (https://2022.foss4g.org/cfp-workshop.php)
